Common Problems with Kitchen Faucets

Leaks are not uncommon in with kitchen faucets. Often leaks will be the result of age and wearing down of the internal components of the faucet. Water will usually collect around the base of the handle shortly after or while running water. This collection of water can possibly lead to water damage to the surrounding area.

Low Water Pressure

If you begin to notice that the water pressure from your kitchen faucet is not what it used to be, you may have some buildup within the faucet. This may be especially true if you live in areas that have hard water. This buildup of minerals will continue to interfere with the water pressure if it is not properly cleaned.

Change in Flow of Water

When you start to notice that the flow of your water is not uniform like it once was, you may have an issue with debris. Over time, minerals and debris will build up within the aerator of the kitchen faucet and create a change in the flow of water. Our plumbers can fix this by either removing the debris or, if necessary, replacing the aerator.
